THE POSITION
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join a specialised Cybersecurity team working on a long-term project for a major national banking institution. The role is part of a broader engineering initiative within the Technology Unit focused on delivering, implementing, and maintaining advanced cybersecurity solutions for large enterprise environments.
You will be involved in operational and implementation tasks, supporting the deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of core security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and WAFs. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for professionals with experience in both traditional and next-gen security tools, especially Fortinet and Cisco environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and configure cybersecurity solutions (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, Load Balancer, WAF)
Support the design of security architectures and produce technical documentation (HLD/LLD)
Perform system migrations based on predefined procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across infrastructure components
Participate in test planning and execution (Acceptance Tests)
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have:
Experience with NGFW technologies (e.g., Fortinet FortiGate, CheckPoint)
Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet Security Fabric: FortiSandbox, FortiDeceptor, FortiSIEM
Experience with user access control systems (e.g., Cisco ISE, FortiAuthenticator)
Ability to configure Load Balancers and F5 WAF
Solid understanding of networking and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.)
Basic programming knowledge (preferably Python)
Professional working proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Fortinet NSE4/6, Cisco CCNP Security, etc.
Experience in enterprise environments deploying: Firewalls, IPS, IDS (e.g., Fortinet FortiGate)
Network Access Control (Cisco ISE)
Load Balancing & F5 WAF solutions
FortiSIEM with log collection and performance monitoring
