THE POSITION
As an SQLServer DBA you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient data solutions for a specific project, optimize data pipelines, and implement best practices for data management and transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, configuration, administration, upgrade, and tuning of SQLServer & Azure SQL instances.
Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as backups, patching, and upgrades.
Technical problems troubleshooting.
Performance & Workload Analysis.
Platform migrations.
Optimize SQL queries to improve efficiency and speed.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least 8 years of experience operating with SQLServer and/or Azure SQL.
SQL and Powershell Scripting.
Knowledge of Office products.
Knowledge of the different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and UNIX).
Advanced level of oral and written English (mandatory).
Knowledge of MongoDB and ElasticSearch is a plus.
Dutch or French knowledge is a plus.
Working during Belgian hours is required (GMT+2).
