THE POSITION
We are looking for a SAP Basis Engineer to work within an Italian company which has been supporting businesses, financial institutions, and public entities with application solutions and IT services for over 40 years. They are specialized mainly in supporting business needs with an ecosystem of managed services and Cloud solutions.
As a SAP Basis Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our SAP landscape, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business processes and objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, configuration, administration, and tuning of SAP instances.
Administration of certified RDBMS for SAP.
Troubleshooting technical issues.
Analysis of Performance & Workload.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as an SAP Basis Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Office products.
Familiarity with different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, and UNIX).
Experience with SAP HANA and various RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, etc.).
