THE POSITION
As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance applications that drive our projects forward. Your expertise will ensure that we build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions using modern .NET technologies.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative software architectures, leveraging cloud technologies and best development practices. Through technical leadership and mentorship, you will contribute to a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Architect and develop scalable, high-performance .NET applications that align with best practices in modern software engineering.
Design and implement clean, modular, and efficient software solutions, ensuring maintainability and extensibility.
Leverage Azure cloud services to build secure and scalable applications, integrating best practices in cloud computing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment, contributing to architectural decisions and software design.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding junior developers and sharing knowledge across the team.
Implement and promote Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring timely and high-quality project deliveries.
Develop and maintain GraphQL APIs using Hot Chocolate, optimizing data retrieval and performance.
Utilize MediatR patterns to create a clean and maintainable application architecture.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in .NET development and software architecture.
Expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET Core
Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, DevOps, Functions, Storage, etc.).
Strong expertise in GraphQL API development using Hot Chocolate.
Deep understanding of MediatR patterns for building maintainable and scalable applications.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum development processes.
Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus).
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
