THE POSITION
We are looking for an MLOps Engineer to join a multidisciplinary data team focused on building scalable and reliable machine learning environments. The professional will work alongside data scientists and software engineers to design, deploy, and maintain ML pipelines on cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient workflows, automation, and high-quality delivery.
You will play a key role in enabling the operationalisation of ML models, contributing to the entire lifecycle—from experimentation to monitoring in production—while promoting best practices in automation, reproducibility, and continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement standardised build and deployment pipelines to support machine learning projects.
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.
Containerise applications and dependencies with Docker to ensure environment consistency.
Deploy and orchestrate ML models on cloud platforms, leveraging managed services for scalability and performance.
Establish automated testing and validation processes to ensure model reliability.
Set up monitoring systems to track performance, detect anomalies, and optimise ML workflows.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide the right tooling support.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to data pipelines, model serving, or infrastructure in production environments.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.
Proven experience with Docker and Terraform (or similar tools).
Hands-on experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred).
Understanding of CI/CD principles and modern DevOps practices.
Experience using monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent).
English level: B2 or higher (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Background in data engineering or model deployment pipelines.
Previous experience in an MLOps or DevOps role supporting ML applications.
