THE POSITION
We are looking for a hands-on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Consultant to join an international cybersecurity team supporting clients across Europe.
This role is strongly focused on the technical design and implementation of IGA solutions, helping organisations improve identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance through robust, scalable platforms.
You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end IGA projects, working closely with architects and security teams in complex customer environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and configure IGA solutions, mainly MidPoint and/or Omada.
Take ownership of technical delivery across the full project lifecycle: setup, customisation, integration, testing, and go-live.
Build and maintain identity lifecycle processes (joiner/mover/leaver), access requests, approvals, and recertifications.
Integrate IGA platforms with directories and systems, including Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, HR systems, databases, and cloud services.
Develop connectors, scripts, workflows, and policies according to customer needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in IGA environments and support production systems.
Collaborate with architects and consultants to translate requirements into solid technical solutions.
Contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous improvement of IGA implementations.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as an IGA / IAM Engineer or Technical Consultant in cybersecurity projects.
Strong hands-on background with MidPoint and/or Omada implementations.
Solid understanding of identity governance concepts: roles, entitlements, SoD, access reviews, lifecycle management.
Experience integrating IAM solutions with AD, Azure AD/Entra ID, LDAP, HR systems, APIs, and databases.
Good scripting or configuration skills (e.g., Groovy, Java, PowerShell, XML/JSON, REST).
Comfortable working in complex, client environments and delivering technical solutions end to end.
Fluent English and Dutch (spoken and written).
Proactive, problem-solver mindset, able to work independently.
