THE POSITION
We are looking for a DataCenter Engineer to join the Networking & Data Center (NDC) Competence Center within the Telco Media & Cloud Provider (TMCP) Business Unit.
The candidate will be part of the Engineering team in the CORE department, collaborating with major Italian Service Providers on both project delivery and presales activities related to complex Networking and Cloud Interconnect solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with client engineering teams to collect project requirements
Collaborate with vendor partners on solution design
Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of Networking and DataCenter solutions
Carry out engineering tasks related to migrations and integration of new technologies
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
3–4 years of experience in large enterprise or service provider environments
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking in large-scale environments
Knowledge of multicast and core routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, MP-BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing (SR), L3VPN, L2VPN
Familiarity with Layer-2 protocols: VLAN, STP, RSTP, MST
Practical experience with Cisco and Juniper routers and switches
Good knowledge of Datacenter networking technologies
