THE POSITION
As an MySQL & PostgreSQL DBA you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our data infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient data solutions for a specific project, optimize data pipelines, and implement best practices for data management and transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, configuration, administration, upgrade, and tuning of MySQL & PostgreSQL instances.Troubleshooting technical issues;
Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as backups, patching, and upgrades.
Technical problems troubleshooting.
Performance & Workload Analysis.
Platform migrations.
Optimize SQL queries to improve efficiency and speed.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
At least 8 years of experience operating with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of Office products.
Knowledge of the different Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and UNIX).
Knowledge of MariaDB, Galera, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Advanced level of oral and written English (mandatory).
Knowleadge of MongoDB and ElasticSearch is a Plus
Italian knowledge is a Plus
