Maintain and evolve a scalable, production-grade data platform hosted on AWS.

Handle security-related tasks using AWS Secrets Manager and IAM.
Refactor and upgrade software components and monitor AWS bulletins to anticipate changes.
Support disaster recovery mechanisms and observability through CloudWatch logging and alerts.
Integrate new APIs and enable automated data ingestion from external sources.
Manage code through GitHub, ensuring clean version control and maintainability.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong experience with Python for scripting, automation, and backend processing.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, S3, RDS (MySQL), API Gateway, EventBridge, and Secrets Manager.
Familiarity with monitoring, cost optimisation, and platform maintenance in AWS.
Experience working with data orchestration tools like Airflow (nice to have).
Proficiency with GitHub for version control.
Working knowledge of Power BI or willingness to support data visualisation efforts.
Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken), minimum B2 level.
Preferred: familiarity with AdTech or large-scale data ingestion systems.
