THE POSITION
We are seeking a talented and motivated SRE Engineer to join our team. As an SRE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing a GCP ecosystem and an internal crawling program. You will work closely with our team of analysts, providing operational support, resolving issues, and automating support tasks. Additionally, you will contribute to the growth of our DevOps capability and assist with new releases. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact on our clients' performance marketing efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide operational support to a team of 25 analysts, assisting them in adopting and effectively using the system.
Train and support analysts on an individual basis, ensuring their proficiency in utilizing the system's features.
Resolve issues and bugs experienced by analysts promptly and effectively.
Automate support tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Assist in the establishment and growth of DevOps capability, enabling quick and efficient release cycles.
Collaborate with the product innovation team to roll out new releases, fix bugs, and optimize system performance.
Take ownership of the system, understanding its functionality, and actively contribute to its stability and improvement.
Participate in the creation of a proper DevOps environment, workflow, and orchestration for smooth deployment and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions effectively.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the role.
REQUIRED:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python is a must.
Strong experience with GCP Cloud, including VMs, cloud storage, and cloud run.
Familiarity with data analytics tools like BigQuery or Mongo DB.
In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Understanding of deployment tools like Terraform is desired.
Experience with GCP Networking, including VPC, NAT, and Firewall.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to adapt to different roles and tools.
Learning agility and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and concepts.
Autonomous work style with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
