THE POSITION

As a Sales Engineer, you will be in charge of managing different accounts and making them grow. Your role goes beyond traditional sales management. As a liaison between the technical and sales teams, you will play a crucial role in understanding and articulating the technical aspects of the products or services your company offers.

Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with both, the sales and engineering teams to bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical solutions.

By leveraging your technical expertise, you will provide insightful pre-sales support, addressing client inquiries, and demonstrating how your products or services meet their specific needs.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development of customized solutions, create persuasive technical proposals, and actively participate in client presentations. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner will be essential in building trust with clients and driving successful sales outcomes.

Overall, as a Sales Engineer, you will be the key architect of technical solutions, ensuring a seamless transition from initial client engagement to successful sales closures.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commercial and Financial

  • Commercial models (pricing models) for clients and consultants

  • Decision-making for pricing, margins & costs

  • Maintaining/improving commercial models and commercial discipline

  • Commercial process development

  • Syncing with a consistent value proposition, partners and suppliers

  • Pay policy and rewards for consultants vs fees to clients. Combination of Commercial and Relationships management

  • Place purchase orders/supply parameters with partners and suppliers

  • Invoicing to the clients

  • Financial reporting: revenues, margins, costs.

  • Technical Sales / Pre-sales

  • Engage with clients on our propositions: Digital solutions, AI, talent, and services, from the first meeting onwards

  • Developing technical and commercial proposals with our engineers and partners

  • Work with legal on key terms and conditions for proposals, review draft contracts

  • Resourcing strategy for client projects, whether to search for our remote engineers, use partners, or both

  • Manage sales pipeline, pro-actively planning and executing sales and project opportunities against each client and opportunity

  • Develop and improve the sales operations process.

  • Client success / Account management

  • Relationships management

  • Upsell more projects/downsizing

  • Project oversight/sponsorship

  • Issue management

  • Relations with consultant’s managers


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system engineering or electronic engineering.

  • Google Sheets and Excel.

  • Being able to relocate to the UK in 1 year.
