THE POSITION
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Architect to spearhead the development of cutting-edge technology for our search and productization platform. This pivotal role involves designing and implementing APIs that deliver high-performance and accurate search capabilities to systems disseminating multimedia news to a global clientele.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designing the architecture, developing, and maintaining robust back-end services and APIs for the search platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
This role needs to have deep experience writing code in Elasticsearch and using it as a search engine, including expertise in search relevance tuning, index mapping, and query construction, among other related skills.
Handle massive data volumes and deliver real-time news content to thousands of customers.
Design, test, deploy, and enhance software solutions, meeting project deadlines and priorities in an agile development environment.
Ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications within an AWS cloud environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
Lead architectural discussions and drive the evolution of the search platform with advancements in cloud and AI technologies.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in similar roles.
Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services and experience in API development.
Proficient in Golang/Python programming.
Strong development experience with Elasticsearch.
Knowledge of Domain Driven Design concepts and microservices.
Experience designing RESTful web services.
Experience in developing architecture diagrams using tools like Lucidchart or similar.
Advanced English (Mandatory).
Due to compliance considerations, candidates must be based in Brazil, Mexico or USA. (Mandatory)
