CHIEF INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER (CISO)

THE POSITION

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior CISO to lead our information security efforts and ensure the protection of our digital assets and data.

As a Senior Chief Information Security officer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop and implement security policies, and work to mitigate security risks. This role is integral to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of information security and data protection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a CISO, your main responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop, communicate, and implement a comprehensive information security strategy and program.

  • Provide strategic guidance and advice to executive management on information security.

• Security Policy and Procedures:

  • Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage security risks and vulnerabilities across the organization.

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans.

• Security Awareness:

  • Promote a security-aware culture within the organization through training and awareness programs.

  • Ensure that employees and third-party vendors understand their roles and responsibilities in safeguarding information assets.

• Security Architecture:

  • Design, implement, and manage security architectures, including firewalls, encryption, and access control systems.

  • Stay current with emerging security technologies and trends.

• Incident Response:

  • Develop and maintain an incident response plan and lead the response to security incidents.

  • Coordinate with legal and law enforcement authorities as necessary.

• Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

  • Monitor and report on compliance status and remediate non-compliance issues.

• Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the information security team, ensuring their professional development and effectiveness.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in the following areas:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior information security role.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience working in a complex, multi-platform environment.

• Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS security configurations.

• Advanced Oral English skills.
