THE POSITION
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect with a focus on DevOps to drive digital transformation for international clients.
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for defining the architecture and design of the DevOps model, assessing DevOps maturity, setting up KPIs to monitor progress, and implementing DevOps and Agile practices.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in introducing new tooling, technology, and standardized processes to achieve higher DevOps maturity levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Cloud Architect / Azure you will:
Lead the customer through his transition into the cloud, more specifically the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Translate high-level non-functional requirements to a Cloud-based architecture design
Design and deploy a technical implementation plan, whilst exercising clear technology/domain/innovation ownership for their cloud hosting requirements.
Implement your knowledge for client-oriented, creative, performant, scalable, and reusable IT solutions.
Maintain Company IT standards, Architecture principles and Strategy, Roadmap and use cases.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
At least 10 years of relevant IT experience, about 4 years in Azure and 2 years in cloud architecture with Azure.
Experience in deploying infrastructure and configuration of components through code using Terraform or Bicep (Ansible also possible) in combination with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions
Good understanding of quality and security principles for software releases.
Experience with automation (testing, builds, etc.), CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GitHub.
Knowledge or experience in development (.NET or Java).
Fluent in English (mandatory)
Azure Certifications, such as AZ 900, AZ 103 or 203, AZ 400, are a plus.
